Horrible choice

This year teachers of "polish language and literature specialization" (KBFU) organize a translators competition. It wouldn't be popular, because - first of all - there so little number of students and also not everyone can translate poetic texts. I usually participate in translators competitions in K-grad and other Russian cities (such as St-Petersburg, Orenburg, Chelyabinsk, etc), because it's the greatest fun for me. But it almost impossible to me to participate in this competition (in my native university, in my native city). Teachers decided that we would translate poems written by Czesław Miłosz and they want me to give an example to younger students, explain how they have to translate the poetic texts. It's great, I can tell them about the ways of translating, give good examples (original texts and translated texts), but I really can't translate poems by Cz.Miłosz. Instead of the Nobel prize that he got in 1980, I just don't like it. I either dislike poems by Wisława Szymborska. I prefer another type of lyric poetry.

The competition will be finished in the second half of March, in the same time I'll participate in St-Peterburg's "Sensum de Sensu", so today I must do the quest - to choose the poem by Cz. Miłosz, there's not any option for me to not participating in the competition. It'll be painful choice.
